Don not only met but exceeded all our expectations in helping us, directing us, and facilitating all aspects of this very exciting experience. Thanks to Don's extensive services, I learned TONS about myself and my lineage.
The biggest surprise to me was the origins of my last name. Ever since childhood, I was told that our family had deep German roots. WRONG; Turns out my last name is English and one of my relatives was the mayor of London! Going down the historical rabbit hole of my lineage was a great conversation starter with my family and led to some interesting conversations with my parents.
As for my DNA mapping, this was an experience unlike any other. I sat on the couch for hours as I basically went through the "instructional manual" to my genetic makeup. It was interesting to see how my experiences in life were accurately reflected in this report. Because of this, I was able to adjust my diet to fit my biology better. Since reading this report my current health has improved and I am aware of what ailments could affect me as I grow older.

I’ve been meaning to reach out to you for some time and thank you for all the work, diligence and passion that you put into my DNA profile and family history. It was above and beyond what I expected from a simple little swipe of a swab.
The biggest surprise for me was how much it touched my parents and siblings. We have always just relied on stories and memories passed down from grandparents and extended family to keep track of our ancestors, but memories can be flawed and my folks don’t stay in contact like they used to. Several years ago, I had my DNA done on a popular website. The site said I had a close relative who also showed up on my daughter's report, but interestingly not on my sister’s. We tried To contact the person but got no response, it was during the pandemic. We forgot about it.
Until last year when I was contacted by Don Magnuson, with info that the DNA relative was possibly a half-brother, who I knew nothing about, shall I say the rest is history.
I was very skeptical but Don was so kind and easy to work with, made me feel very comfortable.
I can never thank him enough, for introducing me to my half-brother, a lovely man, what a blessing.
